Duckshund are native to the Nile region, but feral populations can be found throughout Anesidora. Generally non-aggressive towards humans, Duckshund make excellent companions. Thanks to their poisonous flesh, insect heavy diet, and superior sense of smell, they also make for great pest control and watch animals.
